Megan goes bushwhacking

As a company who’s majority clientele live and work in very remote, isolated and often wilderness type environments we have to ensure that all our staff have a good frame of reference to this unique type of environment.

One of our new incident managers, Megan Price has a great deal of experience in the mining environment and medical industry however none within the lodge/ bush environment. We therefore sent her off on a 4 day trip to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve in South Africa where she visited a few of our clients and got to get a good understanding of how the lodge industry operates (including the 5am wake-up calls for game drives and all the good service and food!).

Megan commented on her experience: “My trip to the Sands gave me insight into so many of the challenges faced by many of our clients. From road blocks caused by Buffalo to why we get the unique calls at the hours we get them!”
